Zoho launches 'Zoho Practice' to boost accountants productivity
Zoho, a SaaS unicorn headquartered in Chennai, has introduced Zoho Practice, a specialized practice management solution designed for chartered accountants (CAs). This platform aims to enhance CAs' productivity and operational effectiveness, allowing them to concentrate on their firms' strategic expansion. According to Zoho, the software offers accountants a comprehensive tool to optimize their firm's processes, facilitate smooth internal collaboration, and enable seamless communication with clients.
Sivaramakrishnan Iswaran, the global head of Zoho Finance and Operations Suite, highlighted the company's transformation over the past 15 years. Initially providing an invoicing solution, Zoho has evolved into a comprehensive platform supported by a robust ecosystem. Through close collaboration with various stakeholders, Zoho has expanded not only geographically but also enhanced its understanding of the financial ecosystem. This growth has facilitated innovation and the launch of new solutions.
Zoho Practice incorporates client management, document handling, project monitoring, task management, timesheet tracking, and billing functionalities. Additionally, the application features advanced collaboration tools such as chat, voice or video calls, and document sharing. It also employs AI-driven anomaly detection to identify transaction inconsistencies. Furthermore, the practice management solution comes pre-integrated with Zoho Books (an accounting app), Zoho Expense (for travel and expense management), and Zoho Payroll (managing payroll).
Established in 1996 by Padma Shri awardee Sridhar Vembu and Tony Thomas, Zoho, initially known as AdventNet INC, has expanded globally. With offices in the US, Singapore, the UAE, and Japan, the company offers over 50 integrated online applications supporting various business functions, including sales and marketing, finance, email and collaboration, app development, and analytics.
